Hello ladybugs, I wanted to share with you a notice from the General Authorities for our Mutual Theme next year.
"We believe in being honest, true, chaste, benevolent, virtuous, and in doing good to all men; indeed, we may say that we follow the admonition of Paul—We believe all things, we hope all things, we have endured many things, and hope to be able to endure all things. If there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, we seek after these things” ((Article of Faith 1:13).
We have officially planned out the calendar of events and activities for next year. I am so exciiiiiited. It will include: Camping, service projects, modest fashion show, temple trip/picnic, ice skating etc. Geneology classes, etc. ladies get ready. Next year is going to be great!

Temple Trip
Thursday I woke up with the urge to go to our local LDS bookstore to find a study guide ( i love study guides). On my way out I grabbed my camera. As I approached the street of the bookstore I saw two missionaries, Elder Jonson and his companion. Elder Jonson served at our ward about a year ago before he was transferred to another stake. Anyway, he helped me find a family study guide and activity book I was looking for FHE.
I can spend hours at this bookstore. They also have a tiny scrapbook section (this made me excited) but I was not shopping for scrapbook stuff, mainly because Hubby has bought me a pricey Cricut machine :) so Im on scrapbooking supply lock down GRR. As I left the bookstore I saw the Temple peering out of the tree tops.
I felt so drawn to it, its so beautiful. I decided to drive to the temple grounds and take closer pictures myself. I was a little shy because I was by myself and I felt silly just pulling up to take pictures. But this was only the beginning.
The presence of The House of the Lord swelled my heart with such incredible overwhelming joy. I was mesmerized by its beauty and intricate architecture. It was like drawing me in, amazing feeling.
This Temple has been here since 1994. I was 12 years old. (did I just admit my age). This picture is my favorite. I love how the clouds add dimension to the height of the gold plated Angel Moroni.
This was it. I said to myself. I have to be in a picture. I looked around and there was no one in sight. I wanted...no I needed to be in a picture with the Temple...Light bulb...I'll just take the picture myself..
AHHHH SUN IN MY EYES and you can't see the Temple...must try again..Oh and I must share that I all the sudden was flooded with such joy, such deep gratitude, incredible love and happiness that I was laughing so hard, tears running down my cheeks as I attempted to take pictures. I could not stop laughing and giggling out loud (thank Heavens no one was outside..lol) I was chuckling, I felt like I was being tickled.
Umm, how come I look like I just smelled something bad...TRY AGAIN..
Ah, maybe a picture of me looking AT the temple. Except it looks like I am NOT looking AT the temple. NEXT.
OH YEAH, my camera has automatic self-timer! Derr, so I propped it on top of my car and set this up. My hubby says I look like a missionary in this one. Well guess what..we are ALL missionaries :)
YAY you can see Angel Moroni!! This picture cracks me up because I was cracking up to myself. I think the Holy Spirit was tickling me. I was so happy. I did not want to leave the Temple grounds.
What a beauty!!! I mean the Temple LOL! My hubby and I are planning our Temple Sealment for late January. We are excited! Ladies our purpose is to remain Virtuous and be sealed in the Temple. It is the only way we can achieve exaltation and return to the presence of our Heavenly Father. Keeping the commandments and following the teachings of our prophets will bring you joy, happiness, and love. Imagine being with your family Eternally. Isn't that beautiful?

Pumpkin Party @ Mutual
Wow, I am impressed with the girls. I didn't think the pumpkins were going to turn out so great! I was more nervous that I wasn't going to teach them how to do it right (because I am an amateur at sewing). But, Voila!!! Here they are! They look amazing. Once I figure out how to do a tuturial page I will include it ( I am new to blog-land). Here are photos of my craft-making young women. You ladies Rock!
I feel like I fell into a pumpkin patch. LOL, okay its like 7am and I wake up so hyper, so pretend Im doing the running man.
Check out this self portrait one of my girls made of herself! If I were to do it on me, I'd look like Betty Rubble. Ba Ha Ha (Im a nerd).
